about
Thanks for visiting Short Film in Worship. Basically, I think short film is an unappreciated genre, just in life generally, but my particular interest is its uses in church. Short films are to feature length films what poems are to novels – a short film, like a poem, can condense meaning and emotion in ways that a longer film can’t. That makes them perfect for use in church, whether that be for worship, for reflection, to make a point or an illustration.
This is my little effort to gather my thoughts in one place as I try stuff out, find new things, and explore the possibilities. If you’ve used something, tell us about it, and let’s share our findings.
