I was just talking about this on Make Wealth History and I thought I’d better stick it here too – apologies to anyone who reads both. The TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design) conference is an annual gathering of visionaries and thinkers, and their site has loads of the talks available as downloads. Speakers include Al Gore, Bono, Amazon’s Jeff Bezos, Richard Dawkins, Carl Honore of ‘In Praise of Slow’ and dozens of other geniuses. There are some stunning presentations, but the one I want to share is Gapminder inventor Hans Rosling on myths about the third world:

And people in London, a reminder that this week is the Rushes Soho Shorts Festival. I caught a few things today, and recommend catching at least the winners on friday. Full programme here.
